Batello Garden Design
Garden Design

We offer a full design service ranging from initial concept ideas through to the final design. We always strive to produce designs that are tailored to our clients needs and that are unique and personal to each individual client. We will make a number of visits to discuss your ideas, needs and requirements for your garden. *

The Design Process
1. After contacting us an initial free visit will be arranged to discuss your garden and to explain to you how we work.
2. Following this initial meeting a design quote will be sent to you.
3. On acceptance of the quote we will arrange a time when we can survey your garden and have further discussions with you about your garden.
4. Using the information gained from the survey and previous meetings - we will then work on concept designs. Concept designs do not include all the detailing, but servs to give you an option and ideas of our proposals. We will discuss this and make any changes you may feel are necessary. If the changes are significant we have another meeting to discuss.
5. The agreed final master plan design is drawn up together with detailing and other drawings that are necessary for our landscape construction team. The client will receive a copy of their plans and generally this is where the payment for the design work becomes due. After this the landscape construction team will give a quote on the basis of the design and planting plan.

At batello we are passionate about plants and offer a range of personalised planting services. These include planting plans, border design and planting lists for clients that don't require a full design service.

We can also provide maintenance plans for both new and existing gardens giving invaluable information on how to care for the plants within the garden.

* We cover the South West of England and South Wales but we do take on projects outsite of these regions. A typical design for an average sized garden will cost between £300-£500. A design quote will be given to you after our free initial visit.
