Country Curves

This garden was designed to sit comfortably within its village setting, with flowing curves and natural materials guiding you through the space. Gently winding paths and lawn edges are set out in traditional clay pavers, creating soft definition while keeping maintenance simple and tidy over time.

The lawn is intentionally modest in scale. The small meadow-like green area can be found near the bank. The main lawn weaves through the garden rather than dominating it. This allows planting to take the lead, with generous borders designed to feel informal and settled. The planting palette suits a country garden, with a mix of perennials, grasses and structural shrubs providing movement, texture and seasonal interest.

To one side, the garden shifts in character to form a quiet Japanese-inspired space. Belgian pavers introduce a calmer feel underfoot, paired with lattice fencing to provide enclosure and a sense of retreat. Clay paver edging is used throughout to define lawns and beds, ensuring clean lines that will age well and weather naturally.

The result is a relaxed, well-crafted, plant-led garden designed to mature gracefully and improve with time.

“Paul and his team then turned our mud patch into a beautifully landscaped garden to be proud of which we will enjoy seeing mature for years to come. This company is very professional and works to a high standard. We would unreservedly recommend them to anyone.”
